"I decided to lend my voice to the Code Blue Campaign after having volunteered at the Los Angeles Mission during the holidays and realizing how homelessness affects all of us. It is an incredibly misunderstood and improperly handled problem that, if not treated, becomes cyclical and continues for generations. If we can help some of these teens, many of whom are children from abusive homes, and teach them the tools to be productive members of society, we can help slow the growing problem of homelessness in America. "
